Company Description: A non-profit, residential, environmental educational organization offering marine science programs for 10-17 year olds in a summer camp setting and to visiting elementary, middle, secondary, college, and adult groups throughout the school year.
Seasonal employment: Intern and instructor positions are available throughout the year. Multi-seasonal and year-round positions are also available. Internship credit is available.
Description: Staff lead interpretive programs in tropical marine science for campers/visiting schools and participate in hospitality services required to run a residential facility. Extensive training: science seminars; American Red Cross waterfront lifeguarding, oxygen administration, first aid, and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer; skin diving leadership and Rescue Diver (for currently certified divers only); boat handling; camp life; and teaching techniques.
Qualifications: Recent college graduate of or working towards a college degree in marine science, the biological sciences, or a related field. Current college students may obtain credit through an internship. All applicants should be strong swimmers. Non-science, summer positions are also available for Cabin Counselors, SCUBA Instructors and program assistants in sailing, windsurfing, science and SCUBA.
Benefits: Training, room and board provided on the property, worker’s compensation insurance, and staff boat use during time off.

Because of the steps involved in securing a work visa, international applicants should apply at least 6 months in advance of the anticipated start date. International applicants should anticipate an employment commitment of 1 full year/3 seasons, minimum.
